Background

  • Need to manipulate the Trucker Path app while driving (for example, finding truck stops, changing destinations, adding a stopover, zooming in). This is extremely dangerous and a better way is to instruct the Trucker Path app via voice commands.
  • Trucker Path launched a brand-new voice assistant named "Luna" 

Feature

  • Activate your very own assistant from Trucker Path by saying "Hi Luna" while the Trucker Path app is open

1. How to Enable Access

Enable Access within the App

 

Tap on the Microphone icon

 Tap on Got it  Enable Phone System Settings after tapping on Settings

Enable Access from System Settings

 

Search for Trucker Path App

 Within App Permissions, you need to TURN ON Microphone and Speech Recognition  
 

 

2. Activate Luna  

Activate by simply saying "Hi Luna"

OR

tap on the microphone icon

When activated, text box will appear and "Luna is listening"

 

Start talking and test its capabilities!

  • Post in our social media groups: Facebook, Reddit, WhatsApp

1. Things to Test

  • Essentially you can instruct Luna to do anything you can normally do by typing: 
  • Find truck stops based on preferences (ratings, parking, amenities)
  • Helping create or make changes to a Trip
  • General assistance, i.e., your personal Google Aid
  • We don't want to restrict anything, ask anything you think is useful over voice!

2. Changing the Tone

  • If you don't like the default robotic tone, you can change this from the phone System Settings
Settings --> Accessibility --> Spoken Content --> Voice --> English --> Voice Skin

 

3. Unable to Activate Luna

  • Luna will not activate if your battery is under 20%
  • Luna will not activate if your phone is overheating
  • Some Bluetooth connections may cause interference
  • If your phone is also playing music/audiobooks/voice calls, it may interfere with usage
